No prior experience with yoga or backpacking necessary.

Gear

 

With many years of experience backpacking, we understand the importance of quality gear. That's why we've done the vetting process for you so that you don't have to spend the time researching and purchasing gear for the trip. We use respected brands such as Big Agnes, Thermarest, Jade Yoga Mats, and Deuter to make your trip as comfortable as possible. 

Pre/Post Trip Lodging

 

To simplify your trip planning, we offer pre and post backpacking trip lodging in St. George, Utah. The night before departure, we'll hold an orientation meeting where you'll meet your guide and fellow guests. Upon your return, a hotel room will be waiting for you, so you can relax and freshen up without any hassle.

Experienced Guide

 

Brooke has guided over 1500 miles of trails, is a Wilderness First Responder, Certified Yoga Instructor, and consistently gets high reviews from her clients. She focuses on giving each guest a unique,educational, and significant experience in the backcountry. 

Food

 

We offer organic and nutritious meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner throughout trip. Before the trip, you will fill out a food preference sheet to ensure that we meet your dietary requirements, including vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options. We believe that backpacking should not compromise your nutrition.

Pre-Trip Meeting

 

As a small local business, we pride ourselves on providing a personalized experience that larger organizations cannot match. During our virtual pre-trip meeting, we will discuss your trip goals and address any concerns you may have. Our years of guiding experience have shown us that this is something our guests always appreciate, and it's a service that sets us apart from our competitors. 

Itinerary

Day 1 / August 21/ Meet in St. George

Check into your hotel room in St. George, attend orientation meeting at 5 pm where will you get you your gear for the trip, get help packing your bag properly, and then get a good nights sleep before our adventure begins!

Day 2 of Retreat/ August 22

It will be an early morning, but we will pick you up at the hotel and drive approximately 2 hours to our trail head. 

Next, we will do an intention setting meditation before we embark. 

We have about a 6.5 mile hike and 1,000 feet of elevation gain on day one. 

When we get to camp we will all set up camp together and then do a yoga practice on the beach of an alpine lake before dinner. 

Day 3 of Retreat / August 23

After waking up, we will do coffee/tea and a morning yoga practice. 

After yoga, we will have breakfast to fuel our day. 

Next, we have a hike from camp with an option for some forest bathing, mediation, and journaling. 

Finally, we will come back to camp and have some group bonding time and dinner. 

Day 4 of Retreat / August 24

After waking up, we will do coffee/tea and a morning yoga practice. 

After yoga, we will have practice to fuel our day. 

We will then hike out 6.5 miles and 1,00 feet of elevation gain, with a closing ceremony at the end of trai.

We will then drive back to St. George and dropped off at your hotel room.
